I'm here

Yeah, shit's been hectic. We've been real busy at work with the upcoming Exchange upgrade. Also putting out little fires, and trying to keep everyone happy all at the same time. Our environment is tricky the way it is set up and the locations. Plus, there have been cut-backs. Our VP was fired last week. In a very cruel way, but that is how the family is. They basically let him lead the managers meeting as normal, then called him in. Told him he was finished as soon as he gathered his things. Everyone was in shock, and confusion at the same time. I will really miss him. I already do, he's a really nice guy and that was my lunch buddy. In fact, he called me up today and I met him for lunch, its the first time I actually had a chance to talk to him. When they let someone go, they pretty much don't let them say goodbye or anything. So, non of us got to say goodbye. He had been with the company over a year, and due to the economy, cut-backs must be made. He was getting paid pretty good. So, that really sucked. But, I was glad I had a chance to talk to him today. It was just the manner they terminated him. Lead him on like everything was fine, and then call him in, it was a Wednesday, and say "Your dismissed". It's just how these people are. I dunno how they can do it, I mean, I understand buisness is buisness but they watched every move he made, then escorted him off the property. Its just strange to me I guess, because I have never had any expierence in an office environment. Especially family run and owned.

I have also have like 3 or 4 doctors appointments between this and last week, including the dentist. Man, have they come along way. I had a cavity as a child, but that was it. Until now that is, when the Pepsi caught up with me. All these new tools they use, plus at my dentist, they have you pick out a DVD to watch, so thats kinda cool. I picked out Fight Club. And, started laughing while she's got the torture tools in my mouth. But it was funny! I'm glad its Friday.

Man, I never heard of that but it's a FANTASTIC idea! Movies at the dentist. I keep saying we need TV's in the patient's rooms so they don't get so pissed when it takes more than 15 minutes to get them completely treated for their problem it took them 3 months to come in for!
